We believe that scouts should "try on" a few different troops to see which one feels like home to them.  Come visit Troop 834 to see if we are a good fit for you.  You are welcome to visit as many times as you need to.  However, until you're a registered scout, a parent must stay and visit with you.  Email newscout@bsatroop834.org to arrange a time to visit.

Troop 834 accepts all scouts between the ages of 11 and 17.  You can join at any point in the year.  If you'd like to join after visiting our troop, email our troop committee chair for an application link.  Just fill it in and submit!

Our annual dues include your registration with the Boy Scouts of America and our local Golden Gate Area Council.  Dues can vary depending on whether you're a new scout, a transfer from another unit, or joining later in the year.  Please check with our committee chair to determine your dues.
