Why Our Scouts Love Camp Wolfeboro:
"The time spent at Camp Wolfeboro is the best. Every day, you wake up, feeling excited for the day and (sort of) refreshed after a beautiful nights sleep in the fresh mountain air. After a hearty breakfast in the mess hall, including yelling the troop yells, songs, and having a blast all around, you start your merit badge classes. The merit badges are taught by Wolfeboro staff who are guaranteed to always have a smile on their face and an attitude full of excitement and happiness. The staff helps you get your merit badges, so as long as you put in the work before the week and during the week, you will come home with many merit badges.
In the middle of the day, after an equally hearty lunch, you can work on more merit badges, or have a little break to go hang out with your friends, go swim in a waterfall, or go fishing or boating in the stunning river. Our troop has a tradition of swimming in the most stunning and amazing lagoon with a waterfall crashing down next to you and fish swimming around your ankles.
Finally, we begin the end to our day with a fantastic dinner, complete with more troop yells, more songs, and all around happiness and fun. And then, we end the night with a campfire, that has incredible skits and songs put on by the staff and the troops. After the campfire, we head back to the campsite and turn in for the night, anticipating all the fun the next day." - Brendan O.
